This trailer's text doesn't start to appear until just before half way through the trailer, this has been done as it allows the scene to be set initially before the pacing of the trailer speeds up. All shots featuring the text beside the penultimate shot of the film's title has a black background, this is most likely done so the viewer can focus solely on the text that is appearing onscreen rather than what is happening in the scene. The text zooms in from the background into the foreground through the use of Kens Burns effect. This text is also silver with a red shadow, the red shadow effect is being used due to the connotations that red has. The title text is a different font used in the previous text shots, this text has a somewhat gothic quality to it which reflects on the fact that Nazi's are appearing the movie as gothic text is similar used to the font used on old propaganda. The background also has footage of the clouds playing behind the animated text this is done to distinguish it more from the previous text.

The titles for this film come in abnormally late. This is because the first 1:40 is simply laying out the starting plot for the movie, and is giving a taste of what is happening/what the key issue is about. They are black text on a white background, which symbolises good and evil. it can also symbolise the simplicity of the situation as there are no fancy overlays. After the long wait for the first title, the next are all close to each other, and are used to split up the action on screen. The titles are mainly focused on who took part in the movie as it contains some big names like Keanu Reeves which could bring in an audience no matter how bad the film may of looked.

0:18 "Evil"
0:21 "Walks among us"
1:37 "Oscar Winner Nicolas Cage"
1:40 "Sarah Wayne Callies"
2:10 "Pay The Ghost"

The Trailer's first title comes in at 0:14 and says 'Every Halloween'. This is in the common font for horror films, and is coloured gold. Following the first title, there are 2 more titles in quick succession which say "Evil" and "Walks among us". This shows how the titles are forming the sentence, "Every Halloween evil walk among us". This gives the audience a rather eery feeling as it shows what the film may be implying as an evil entity or maybe a certain person that could be acting "Evil". The titles then go to include the actors, Nicolas Cage and Sarah Wayne Callies. This shows the importance of their role as they are the only 2 actors to be included in the trailer's titles.
