Initial Ideas
We started experimenting with idea's and have came across these ideas:
1. 2 friends bully a 2 victims (Aaron and Clara) and victim looks into necromancy and it possesses the girl victim (Clara) who kills the bullies but turns on other victim (Aaron). They then have to try and figgure out a way of turning their best friend back.
2. A psychopath but is not completely human, he is a kind of spirit that murders people to avenge his past. His past involves his family; they were said to be ‘monsters’ and they were outlawed by nearby village. The killer tries to kill descendants of the villagers that killed his family.
*3. We also took inspiration from the "Dyatlov Pass Incident"; this was an event that resulted in the deaths of nine hikers in the northern Ural Mountains on the night of February 2, 1959. The incident happened on the eastern side of Kholat Syakhl. Since then, the mountain pass where the incident occurred has been called Dyatlov Pass after the group's leader, Igor Dyatlov. Investigators determined that the skiers had torn their tents from the inside out in order to escape from an apparent threat. They fled the campsite, some of them barefoot, under heavy snowfall. Although the bodies showed no signs of struggle, two victims had fractured skulls and broken ribs, absent contusion. Soviet authorities determined that an "unknown compelling force" had caused the deaths; access to the region was consequently blocked for hikers and adventurers for three years after the incident. Due to the lack of survivors, the chronology of events remains uncertain, although several theories exist, some involving a possible avalanche. Our idea from this was a found footage video around the incident. For example we would have the entity that seems to have caused this problem. It would torture and kill the people in violent and mysterious ways, similar to wounds that have happened to the victims on the real life story. We would not copy the mountain scene as we do not live anywhere near any real snowy mountainous terrain.
4. We also had a look at some stories from the old testament of the Bible. There are several stories that we could do, as most conclude with a heavenly message to brutally rape and murder any survivors or just sudden unneeded death like:
"From there Elisha went up to Bethel. As he was walking along the road, some boys came out of the town and jeered at him. "Get out of here, baldy!" they said "Get out of here, baldy!" (24) He turned around, looked at them and called down a curse on them in the name of the Lord. Then two bears came out of the woods and mauled forty-two of the boys."
I also like the idea of the seven deadly sins and how they drag people down the path of evil. The seven sins are Lust, Greed, Gluttony, Pride, Wrath, Sloth and Envy. They are already a big part of horror but this idea was to give them a form instead of just displaying the characteristics.

5. After looking at all of our previous ideas and hearing others, we decided that we could focus on an item instead of a person. We looked into different myths and legends that focus on an item, and found that this video explains the main ones.
6. Clara is kidnapped by a Satanic Cult and is drained upon a pentagram. This then ends up her being possessed by a daemon known as Aka Manah. The traits of this daemon include, Evil mind, Evil thinking, Evil purpose, and Evil intentions; he intends to stop the person he has possessed to stop them fulfilling their moral duties. We have thought about this and decided to use it to our advantage by showing 4 stages of Clara's insanity ending with the murder of one of the other characters; we will use this idea of 4 stages for our movie title and trailer titles. Also during the film Clara's brother, played by Aaron, and best friend, played by Laura, try to find out what has happened to her. There will be quick snapshots of Clara being drained as they are researching and trying to find out how to save her. In the end Clara Kills Laura under the last stage of her possession "Evil intentions"; we will not show Laura being killed only suggesting it.
We looked and different God/Demons that could possess Clara. One idea was Persephone who is the queen of the under world in greek mythology; she was kidnapped my Hades and forced to marry him meaning she has to stay in the underworld forever.

7. We finally came up with an idea that is in fact against all the other ideas we have had. We have come up with the idea of a mysterious masked entity that hunts dancers. Clara, Gabi and Laura will be dancers and Aaron and Matt will be the killer. The idea is that the dancers will make their performance and the time at which they get roses thrown at them when they end their performance, the killer will throw a dead rose down with a note on it saying "ENCORE". This is when the killer has a target and the rest of the trailer will involve different scenes and ways in which the dancers find clues on how or where they will eventually be killed.
