Overall, we decided that we liked the idea of a supernatural horror as it gave us more diversity in what we could do for our idea and gave us the opportunity to use a more original or idea. We felt that Zombies had a limit for what we could do, and the slasher idea is very common and so there is little to be done that can create an original plot. The Monster Horror would of needed some CGI or amazing makeup to pull off and we felt that we lacked those skills. Comedy would come off as cheesy, or unfunny and we did not want to fail in the basics of the sub-genre. Finally we could of done a teen horror, but we felt that the opening title sequence needed to have some of the key concepts of horror as it would not become a real film. This left us with supernatural.
